Dr Quique Bassat

 Dr Bassat main area of interest is the prevention and treatment of malaria in childhood, with a particular focus on understanding the clinical overlap of malaria and other common pediatric conditions. In the PAMAfrica consortium, he co-leads WP2 (Clinical Trial: CALINA study A/L for neonates), and is a member of the Strategy and Management Committee, as well as of the Publications Committee.  He is also the co-pi of studies at Manhiça site (Mozambique). He is also a Research Professor at the Catalan Institution for Research and Advanced Studies.
