Dr Sujata Vaidyanathan

Dr. Vaidyanathan is Development Unit Head for Global Health at Novartis. Novartis Global Health focuses its expertise on delivering life-enhancing medicines and improving access to healthcare for underserved populations and targets disease areas to make the most difference. Dr. Vaidyanathan’s work focuses on addressing malaria and other neglected diseases in developing countries and expanding product benefits for underserved patient populations. She has over 20 years of experience working at Novartis and has worked in a number of disease areas including liver disease and cell and gene therapies. Prior to Novartis she worked at Biogen in the area of preclinical and clinical pharmacokinetics.  

Dr Vaidyanathan holds a PhD in Pharmacokinetics from Northeastern University and a master’s degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of Louisiana Monroe.
