Ms Olaug Bergseth

Olaug Bergseth is Associate Director, External Relations at Medicines for Malaria Venture. She manages relationships with existing and potential donors and works to build and develop strategic relations. She also facilitates relations between donors and internal stakeholders at MMV. She has over 20 years of experience working closely with multi-stakeholder teams to develop long-term strategic partnerships with major private and public sector companies and organizations. These partnerships addressed a wide range of areas, including global health priorities with a focus on creating shared value for all stakeholders.  

Prior to MMV, Ms Bergseth worked for the Global Antibiotic Research and Development Partnership (GARDP), the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) as well as in various positions in Norway, including with the government, focusing on education and female entrepreneurs. She has a master’s degree in Development Geography from the University in Bergen, Norway.
